Around The Globe with DJ Paul
For this special edition of Around the Globe, Paul takes over the airwaves for an hour of politically charged music from Colombia.
From rap to folk, experimental sounds and Indigenous voices, the selection brings together artists who use music to speak openly about society, power, state violence, resistance and identity. Their lyrics are direct, personal and deeply rooted in the realities they live and respond to.
Featuring Solitario Soldado, La Muchacha, Flaco Flow y Melanina, Alcolirykoz, Adriana Lizcano, La Guardia Indígena and more.
Not a genre, but a theme: music as a way of speaking, questioning and making realities heard.
